As you may have already read, our work on this property
included a complete roof replacement. You can see some of the

Roof Replacement

Tore off (1) layer of old cedar shakes, underlayments, and all flashings
down to substrate .
|
|

Inspected existing wood deck condition and advise owners of any
necessary/recommended repair of replacement of decking and
additional costs.

Installed new GAF/ELK Deck Armor synthetic underlayment over
remaining surfaces in conjunction with Weather Watch. |

Installed sand-surfaced GAF Weather Watch membrane (3’ wide
sections) along all walls, penetrations, chimneys, valleys, and
gutter lines (at least 24” beyond exterior wall per building codes
and manufacturers recommendations).

Interweave Under Block UV and Moisture Barrier with each course of
slates. |

|
Installed new F5 copper drip edge along all gutter eaves.
|

·
|
Installed new F5 aluminum drip edge along all rake edges. |
|
·

Installed slate starter course along all gutter eaves
extending approximately ¼” over drip edge.

|
·
|
Installed new GAF TruSlate material with the ends of first course
projecting approximately ½” beyond the fascia and approximately 1”
over the gable or rake ends; GAF custom hanger system with Stainless
Steel nails. |

|
Installed new TruSlate Ridge Vent (hidden ridge vent) system across
all ridges (exhaust).
|
|
·
|
Installed coordinating accessory hip and ridge caps with extended 2
¼” nails. |
|
·
|
Installed new Pro-Flash baked-on enamel aluminum 10” step
flashing along all roof/wall intersections.
|
|
·
|
Installed new Pro-Flash baked-on enamel aluminum custom formed
counter flashing with ¼” kick-out at all chimneys and cupolas.
|
|
·
|
Installed new Pro-Flash baked-on enamel aluminum custom formed apron
flashing with ¼” kick-out at all dormers, all slope intersections,
and along all ridge lines.
|
|
·
|
Installed new Pro-Flash baked-on enamel aluminum pipe collars
with neoprene collar embedded in polyurethane sealant.
|
|
·
|
Sealed all flashings with Vulkem 116 polyurethane sealant as
necessary. |
|
·
|
Ran a magnet over premises to pick up loose nails. Cleaned
premises and hauled away all job-related debris and evaluated
premises for final review.
